Sagamore Ad

The School of Informatics wanted a list of classes advertised in the upcoming Orientation magazine put out by the Sagamore (the school newspaper). In the past, I was given a list of classes plus what they were about and a lot of other verbiage that was really difficult for me to deal with. Last year I didn't know enough nor have enough confidence in myself to say "cut the verbiage!"

I've come a long way since last year. This year I have been working off the concept of "bold, trendy, and cool" for the School of Informatics. With that in mind, I went with the sunglasses theme and a one-word simple exclamation. sweet. My sons tell me that's the new "cool."

I have ulterior motives in my designs now. I don't know about the rest of the department, but I have decided that the single message is "bold and cool." That's the experience that I want the students to have when they view my designs. And that's what I want the students to think about themselves. They are bold and cool.
